About
Jacqueta Rascoe
Jacqueta is married with two beautiful children. A 4-year-old daughter (Jordyn) and 1 year old son (Jaxon) who keeps her on her toes. She has been married for almost 13 years and has truly enjoyed the journey. They often take family vacations throughout the year but the best adventurous trip was a cruise in August of 2023 where they took both children and luckily her parents and in-laws as well. The grand-parents were so very needed and obviously everyone survived!
In addition to being a hardworking mother she is a dedicated employee to the Governor of North Carolina as his Director of Boards and Commissions serving and assisting with over 300 boards. Her dedication and drive stems from her skills she developed at East Carolina University where she graduated with a Bachelors in Family and Community Services with a concentration in Family Studies. She also completed the Master’s program in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration through Strayer University.

Lastly, she pursued a longtime passion of becoming a massage therapist. Jacqueta established her own massage therapy mobile service and officially received her license on December 21st, 2023! Her educational pursuits and work stride were driven from her experiences with assisting constituents, close family, and friends, with various problems to include, job placement, veteran benefits, housing and finance, Medicaid and the like. She realized there is a flaw in our systems of helping others with their basic needs; especially regarding health and wellness. She will be establishing a wellness center and massage therapy school in hopes to provide her community with resources of becoming whole again. Battling the big fight with mental health stigmas to include PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome). The establishment of the wellness center and massage school will only be the beginning of her story. Jacqueta has become a newfound author, writing a book to help women find their voice, purpose, and passion. “So Woman, Becoming the Proverbial Woman” is an amazing daily devotional that is truly a must read. And YES, there will be many more books to come!
